Your Donations & Tax Dollars At Work
| RMRG provides a great value to the public. Tax based state and local government funding, individual donations, and miscellaneous grants make up our $40,000 annual budget. Compared with other 501(c)3 organizations, our fundraising administrative overhead is very low. We are able to work on such a limited budget because our all-volunteer membership contributes over 15,000 volunteer-hours each year. If we were a paid team, we might need up to 20 paid staff costing $1 to $2 million a year. Your charitable donations make up a substantial portion of our budget and are vital for our team.
