Boulder County Sheriff's Office & County Agencies
Boulder County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is responsible for Search & Rescue (SAR) operations in Boulder County. BCSO choses RMRG to be the agency in charge of Mountain Search and Rescue. The contract between RMRG and BCSO is renewed annually.RMRG, the BCSO, Pridemark Ambulance, local fire departments, park rangers, and other emergency agencies often work as a team on rescue missions. This multi-agency teamwork provides the best care for the patient, allowing rapid patient contact, advanced pre-hospital medical care, and highly skilled mountain rescuers who can perform an efficient and safe evacuation.
The BCSO makes radio communications on its main channels (Green and Red1) available as a live feed on its website. RMRG is dispatched on Red1 (154.220 MHz).
